Golden Teacher — la varietà cubensis più iconica

Nessuna varietà ha segnato il mondo della coltivazione di funghi come il Golden Teacher. Apparso per la prima volta negli anni '80 — presumibilmente trovato in natura in Florida — si è rapidamente diffuso nei circoli micologici. Nessun coltivatore ne ha rivendicato la paternità. È semplicemente apparso, ha dimostrato il suo valore ed è rimasto. Oggi il Golden Teacher resta il riferimento rispetto al quale vengono misurate quasi tutte le altre varietà di Psilocybe cubensis.

Il nome dice tutto: cappelli dorati e la reputazione di guidare coltivatori e utilizzatori attraverso esperienze serene e riflessive. Il Golden Teacher è la varietà con cui la maggior parte inizia — e a cui molti continuano a tornare.

Aspetto

I funghi Golden Teacher sono inconfondibili. I cappelli presentano una calda tonalità dal miele dorato all'ambra, iniziano convessi e si appiattiscono gradualmente con un lieve rigonfiamento centrale a maturità. Alcuni cappelli sviluppano un bordo leggermente ondulato a dimensione piena. I gambi sono spessi, robusti e bianchi — a volte con una sottile sfumatura bluastra al tocco. Sotto il cappello, lamelle di colore bruno-viola scuro producono una generosa sporata. Nell'insieme, il Golden Teacher ha un aspetto classico ed elegante: corpi fruttiferi di taglia medio-grande che crescono in grappoli uniformi, rendendo il giorno del raccolto particolarmente soddisfacente.

Il Golden Teacher è una delle varietà più facili da coltivare. Il micelio è aggressivo — colonizza rapidamente e supera i potenziali contaminanti. Tollera lievi fluttuazioni di temperatura e umidità senza arrestarsi, rendendolo una scelta ideale per chi coltiva per la prima volta. ho ordinato questo kit ed è arrivato secondo i tempi previsti e in un pacco discreto senza riferimenti sul contenuto.
nonostante fosse la mia prima esperienza, grazie alle istruzioni in questo sito e ad alcuni video tutorial sono riuscito ad avere due raccolti di modeste dimensioni.

First things first, the shipping was great and very discrete. It took four days including the weekend to arrive after the payment was received.
Right off the bat the kit looked awesome and it was completely colonized.
We are still flushing after gathering around 26 grams dried. The first flush was the one with the richest harvest. So better be careful right from the beginning.
The staff was really helpful. They were very kind and responded at the emails rather quickly. So if you have any doubt just contact them; you'll not feel alone if it is the first time.

I'm a first timer and I started with GT, no mat or so.
Instead of a heating pad, I used my pc and console fans - they spit out warm air for half of the day - and they prooved to be quite useful keeping my box warm but never too hot.
The first flush wasn't great, shroom grown only on one side but they were quite big and so I ended up with 13g dried. During the second flush I placed the brick on its side and checked twice a day for mini shrooms - they popped out in very weird locations so eventually I placed the brick vertically and collected 7 fully dried g. They just sprouted for their third time but I can't guess yet how worthy the yield will be, so far I'm at 20g dried which is fine even if I was expecting for 30+. Both flush sprouted and grown very fast, on the 13th day since I got my box I was already putting stuff in the drier. Delivery is also super speedy, everything arrived in less than a week.
I recommend this box and its fruits, my advice is to follow step by step the guide and check 2-3 times x day your babies - (pubblicato il 05/10/2022)

Unfortunately, due to the low temperature in the house, the shrooms grew small (and just a few of them). We tried to wait for three weeks and then it grew mold.

I have ordered this kit one time so far, and it was a couple of weeks ago. I followed the instructions like they were layed out for me, and i was able to get 3 nice flushes with this kit. It was my first time and it went really well. Growing my mushrooms was very simple and whenever I had doubts the customer service was there for me, so good experience overall!

I am a novice mushroom grower but using FreshMushrooms kit was really easy and pleasant. This was my second order and started growing as predicted in 10 days and now the second flush is starting to grow. Also the effects are great!

P.S.: There were some complaints of box being damaged with a needle and than the hole was filled with hot glue. I am quite sure this is the way they insert mycelium and than seal the container and not damage. (pubblicato il 11/11/2021)

I love this kit, I've grown with it 3 different times, and I'm always impressed by how reliable it is. Pins a;ways come up, and if conditions are decent it gives massive flushes.

I recently purchased one of these kits to grow in a new place, but this time the delivery took almost 1 month (couriers fault), by the time the kit came it was definitely a bit affected. But I was impressed that pins still came out and I did have a flush, even though it was a small one. I continued to do further flushes and it still worked. That's impressive considering the amount of time the kit was stuck in poor conditions.
