This is necessary if you live in cold places but be careful you do not make it too hot! It had happened to me in the past. The problem is not the heating mat but you being careful, best to also get a thermometer to check the temp. every now and then and do not allow it to go too high (you do not want to dry your substrate or kill the mycel). Placed it onto a fire-safe piece of ceramic with some metal diffusers, the temperature is always from 21c to 24c, always in the optimum range. (pubblicato il 20/11/2019)Voto - Good job

Most sources (including the gudes on here) will tell you to put smthn in between the heat mat amd the kit, however that I am on flush 2 and the surface is barley colonised. Almost all of them are on the sides near the heat source.Voto
But when measured with an ir gun the surface has 23-24° comming of it.
